As I am in the process of researching and creating a digi pack, I have looked at different CD cover layouts online.

The digi pack layout which I like the most is the second image. It keeps the simple design of a normal CD case (fourth image) however has more space to include a strong design and to present an artist to it's audience. In terms of choosing the layout which I am going to use for my own digi pack, I have not completely decided, however it is likely to be similar to one of the above designs.
